The Northern Adelaide Waste Management Authority has two Resource Recovery Centres (RRC) where residents of the Salisbury, Playford and Gawler Councils can donate, recycle and dispose of a range of items. Trucks up to 3 tonne tare are welcome to access both facilities (contact Edinburgh North RRC for exceptions with heavier vehicles).

Items not accepted at NAWMA’s Resource Recovery Centres
NAWMA’s Resource Recovery Centres do not accept liquid waste (except waste oil) or hazardous materials such as asbestos and nuclear waste. The EPA website has information on how to dispose of these materials. Some household hazardous waste such as unwanted chemicals can be disposed of at no cost at the Household Chemicals and Paint Drop-off Depot. Please refer to the Green Industries SA website for accepted waste and Depot opening times.
