Pooraka site closure

NAWMA’s Pooraka Resource Recovery Centre (63 Research Road) will be closed for site upgrades from close of business, Friday 26 April and will reopen in August 2024. During this period, our Resource Recovery Centre at Edinburgh North will be open for business as usual, seven days a week and will offer all of the same services to our residents and commercial clients*.
The Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre is located at the corner of Peachey and Bellchambers roads.

Weekends 9am to 3pm
Closed: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day
*Also co-located at the Edinburgh North site are a Scouts Recycling Centre, MOBO group Salvage and Save Second-hand store and a Household Chemical and Paint Drop-off facility.
