NAWMA’s new Education Centre was opened on 21 November 2019. The Centre will provide the local community with the opportunity to learn about all levels of the waste hierarchy as well as what happens to their waste and recycling through NAWMA’s services.
Residents can see first hand how NAWMA and others are actively working towards developing circular economy practices and the important role individuals have in supporting the creation of innovative Australian industry through their everyday purchasing and recycling behaviours.
Community groups and residents (aged 18 and over) from NAWMA’s constituent councils – the City of Salisbury, City of Playford and Town of Gawler are invited to visit the Education Centre and tour the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for free by contacting NAWMA’s Customer Service Team on 8259 2100.
